I want to be a a “Cheerleader.” That’s my life’s goal. It’s what I want to be known for and spend my time doing.
I want to:
- Help people become their very best and all God intended for them.
- Encourage those around me, beginning first with my family.
- Help make people feel good about the gifts and abilities THEY have.
The original purpose of cheerleading is not only relevant in today’s world but also badly needed.
People need to hear:
- You can do it.
- You can make it.
- You can make a difference.
It’s what I want to do. It’s who I want to be.
Who can you “cheer” today?
I can cheer on my family. My wife’s hard work and my daughter’s desire to help around the house can get looked over durring our busy days. A word of encouragement goes a long way. I think of all the encouraging words I receive throughout the week. It makes my job a lot easier when I know other people have my back.
Encouraging and challenging word!
One of my heroes of the Bible is Barnabas…the son of encouragement. I want to be like Barnabas…encouraging everyone I can in their gifts, their work, their lives. Thanks, Tom…I want to be on your “Cheerleading Squad” till the “Head Cheerleader” takes us home where no one will need to be cheered!
In addition to the above….how about those who serve us at the market, post office, or any other place we can say, “thank you for your kind service today it has helped me.”
